Center Parcs Supports Forest of Marston Vale Planting Project

With the opening of its fifth Village, Woburn Forest just around the corner, Center Parcs have donated £85,000 towards the creation of a new woodland in the nearby Forest of Marston Vale. These funds are helping to ensure the successful establishment of “Folly Wood”, a new woodland of thousands of native trees to the south of Lidlington Village.

A local artist has been asked to create an illustration to represent the new Center Parcs in Bedfordshire. David Litchfield lives in Bedford with his family and was approached by Center Parcs in August to create his interpretation of what the Subtropical Swimming Paradise at the new village, Woburn Forest, will look like once finished.

Rescued Tropical Plants Arrive at Woburn Forest

Today, Center Parcs will see the first delivery of tropical plants, rescued from East Asia by Jean Henkens (Botanist and Landscape Architect), arrive at the new site, Woburn Forest in Bedfordshire. More than 6,000 tropical plants will be arriving at Woburn Forest during the spring with 4,800 of those earmarked for the Subtropical Swimming Paradise in the Village Square.
